Woodworking at Woodcraft

Jim Harrold, Editor-In-Chief

One of the woodworking industry’s most experienced journalists, Jim Harrold brings more than three decades of writing and woodworking to his post as editor-in-chief of Woodcraft Magazine. His goal with the publication is to facilitate woodworker success through featuring relevant projects, techniques and products in each issue.

Prior to joining Woodcraft, Jim served as managing editor of WOOD, Weekend Woodworking Projects, Home Plan Ideas and Do-It-Yourself. Jim’s woodworking background stems from his college days when he worked in construction and in a cabinet shop during his free time and summers. Today, he has a complete home workshop where he enjoys building furniture, jewelry boxes, and whatever else suits his woodworking needs and interests.

What People Are Saying About Woodcraft Magazine

I just finished reading this months issue of Woodcraft magazine and I have to tell you that in my opinion it was an exceptional issue. All of the articles were good but I was particularly impressed with the SawStop review. The projects detailed and interesting articles really make Woodcraft magazine a bargain especially at the subscription specials we are offering it in the stores. Please pass on my congratulations to all who work on the magazine.
